Name of the disease included in psychiatric disorder
Psychopathetic disorder, in short, is a category of mental illness consisting of schizophrenia and similar diseases. Psychopathetic disorder includes several diseases such as paranoid disorder in addition to schizophrenia, which represents this category. Here, I’m going to focus on these two things and give you an overview of them below.
■ Schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia is not only a representative disease of psychotic disorder, but also one of the mental diseases that represents mental illness along with depression. So the first onset of schizophrenia is usually from late teens to early thirties. It was a time when I was still in school or started to work hard in society. It can easily develop at an important time to decide the life after that. The problems posed by the disease are one of the factors that are likely to escalate. Therefore, regarding the problem at the beginning, hallucinations and delusions mentioned this time are especially easy to appear. Regarding the incidence of the disease and its gender differences, it has an incidence rate of about 1% of the population, with the ratio of men and women almost 1:1.
■ delusional disorder.
Delusional disorder is a mental disorder similar to schizophrenia, as long as it belongs to the category of psychopathic disorder. Having said that, there is also a clear difference from schizophrenia. It is a paranoid disorder in which the problematic symptoms, as the name of the disease, are quite limited to delusions. Therefore, the problems that mental symptoms cause to everyday life may not be so serious than schizophrenia, which is prone to hallucinations. In fact, psychiatric examination for paranoid disorder is quite rare. But delusions are basically serious mental symptoms. They have the potential to create negative problems in personal relationships and at work. Mental care is usually most helpful to improve the quality of one’s daily life.
This time, I explained psychopathic disorder in detail as a basic type of mental illness when hallucinations or delusions appear. But in reality, even a disease that is quite different from a psychopathic disorder, for example, can appear in serious cases of depression. In a slightly different perspective, I will add to this related knowledge that depression that is clearly different from this psychotic disorder can cause hallucinations and delusions in serious cases.
