If you have a chronic headache, you do not have to worry much, but if it is accompanied by a sudden headache, disturbance of consciousness, or numbness/convulsion, it can be a dangerous headache due to subarachnoid hemorrhage, brain hemorrhage or brain tumor. I will explain it in an easy way.
What is a dangerous headache? beware of chronic headaches, migraines and other headaches.
In a word, there are many kinds of headaches. But I’m worried only about the location.
As I explained in “Is headache a disease?”, most chronic headaches are often not to worry about, but some headaches can be fatal. So it’s important to know what kind of disease you have.
So this time, I would like to explain what a “dangerous headache” is.
A dangerous disease that can cause
headaches…
■ Subaural bleeding of spider.
Subconjuncture, which is also a representative example of dangerous headaches. The brain is covered with a very thin membrane called the spider membrane (imagine an oblate-like membrane). On top of that, there’s a slightly harder film called the dura. If the spider membrane is a thin layer in the tangerine, the hard layer is the part that corresponds to the outer layer of tangerine. In addition, the brain is very important, so there is a skull outside the dural membrane, which protects the brain in a multiple structure (Note: For your information, there is a soft membrane under the spider membrane. In the end, the brain is covered by the soft membrane, the spider membrane, and the dural membrane, and together it is called the mening membrane).
Submembrane hemorrhage is a disease in which a lump called “brain aneurysm” formed on the blood vessels on the surface of the brain is torn and bleeds under the spider membrane.
It is characterized by a sudden pain like being hit by a hammer (for example, at a clear timing to say ‘what time, how many minutes and seconds’) and a severe headache that has never been experienced before.
If you have these symptoms, don’t hesitate to call an ambulance.
